SES Band 1 - Executive Director, Pricing and Analytics Branch Closing date: 11:30 pm AEST, 8 June 2026 The Pricing and Analytics Branch is responsible for all data analytics, statistical modelling, benchmarking, and policy impact assessments as part of IHACPA’s function in determining the National Efficient Price (NEP) and National Efficient Cost (NEC) for Australian public hospitals each year. It is also responsible for developing advice for the pricing and funding of aged care, prostheses list price benchmarking, and researching the viability of alternative models of health care funding. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of IHACPA’s executive leadership team. The Executive Director leads several teams that are responsible for hospital and aged care pricing, as well as general data analytics, national benchmarking and trend reporting. |

Department of Health, Disability and Ageing – Temporary Employment Register 2025/2026 We are seeking talented people with a broad cross section of skills, experience and qualifications to register for our Temporary Employment Register (TER). The TER assists with filling temporary positions (up to a possible maximum period of 18 months) across Health, TGA and IHACPA and is open for candidates to register an interest in employment at the APS Level 2 – Executive Level 2 classifications. You don’t need to have experience in a government department or the health sector as our staff have backgrounds in a range of fields in both the public and private sectors. |
