Aged Care Pricing Policy

The Aged Care Pricing Policy describes the principles, approach and processes that underpin the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority’s development of aged care pricing advice for residential aged care, residential respite care and in-home aged care.
The policy outlines the parameters in-scope for pricing advice, the timeframes for key annual documents and the methodology utilised to collect, prepare and analyse information and data, including consideration of year-on-year stability in price weights and unit prices. The policy will be reviewed annually or as required.
The current version of this policy is Version 1.0.
