Refundable accommodation deposits
A refundable accommodation deposit (RAD) is a lump-sum payment charged for a single or shared room in an approved residential care home. Providers must apply to IHACPA for approval to charge above the maximum RAD price prescribed by the Aged Care Rules 2025.
