The Pricing Framework for Australian Support at Home Aged Care Services is used in the development of in-home aged care pricing advice to the Australian Government. The pricing framework outlines the principles, scope and methodology we use in developing pricing advice for the Support at Home service list.
Our annual public consultations inform the development of the pricing framework. This ensures our pricing methods are informed by a broad range of stakeholders across the in-home aged care sector. The pricing framework supports transparency and accountability for in-home aged care pricing by making the decisions and pricing principles used by IHACPA publicly available.
We publish the pricing framework on our website, following agreement from the Minister for Health and Ageing.
