Support at Home pricing advice

IHACPA provides annual pricing advice for services on the Support at Home service list to the Minister for Health and Ageing. We consult with aged care stakeholders to support the development of our pricing advice.

We also undertake annual cost collections to gain a detailed understanding of the resources and costs involved in delivering services. This helps ensure our pricing advice reflects the costs of delivering safe, high-quality aged care services.

The information we gather through our cost collections adds to the data we receive through the Aged Care Financial Report and the Quarterly Financial Report. The additional data helps us develop recommended unit prices for services on the Support at Home service list.

IHACPA provided its first Support at Home Pricing Advice 2025–26 to the Minister for Health and Ageing in February 2025. This advice is under consideration by government.

Following agreement from the minister, we will publish our pricing advice on our website.
