Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2023–24

The Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2023–24 (the Pricing Framework) is the key strategic document underpinning the National Efficient Price Determination and National Efficient Cost Determination for the 2023–24 financial year.
The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) has published the Pricing Framework prior to releasing the National Efficient Price Determination and National Efficient Cost Determination for 2023–24 in March 2023, to provide an additional layer of transparency and accountability to IHACPA’s pricing decisions.
The accompanying Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2023–24 – Consultation Report details feedback received during the public consultation period held from 8 June 2022 to 8 July 2022.
