Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2021–22

The Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2021–22 (the Pricing Framework) is the key strategic document underpinning the national efficient price (NEP) and national efficient cost (NEC) Determinations for the financial year 2021–22 (NEP21 and NEC21 respectively).
IHPA has issued the Pricing Framework alongside NEP21 and NEC21. In previous years the Pricing Framework has been published in advance of the NEP and NEC Determinations. This schedule was modified to accommodate consultation with stakeholders pertaining to the Addendum to the National Health Reform Agreement 2020–25, which came in to effect from 1 July 2020.
