The private sector National Hospital Cost Data Collection (NHCDC) is a voluntary collection that produces a range of hospital cost and activity information by the Australian Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (AR-DRG).
This report includes the findings from 2019–20 of the NHCDC for acute admitted care provided by overnight private hospitals.
The NHCDC Data Request Specifications (DRS) contain detailed guidance regarding the 2019-20 NHCDC Private Sector data.
The cost weight tables include national consolidation cost weights by AR-DRG from the NHCDC Private Sector 2019–20 for acute admitted care provided by overnight private hospitals.
