Hosted by the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA), the conference brings together health information professionals, industry leaders and innovators in the healthcare sector.
This year’s theme ‘Connect & Collaborate – Transforming Data into Better Care’ aligns closely with our purpose of using evidence to make fair and equitable decisions that drive efficiency and promote better value and higher quality care services across Australia.
Anne Elsworthy, Director, Acute Care Classifications, will be presenting ‘The Pathway to ICD‑11: Progress, Priorities and Next Steps’. The session will provide an update on IHACPA’s ICD‑11 journey, highlighting progress to date, current priorities and the key considerations shaping future implementation planning.
Our team will also be available at the booth throughout the conference to share information about our broader classification work with delegates, including national classifications and coding standards such as ICD‑10‑AM/ACHI/ACS and AR‑DRGs.
