Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2015–16

The 2015-16 Pricing Framework builds on the three previous Pricing Frameworks (2012-13 Pricing Framework, 2013-14 Pricing Framework and 2014-15 Pricing Framework). For simplicity, where the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) has reaffirmed a previous principle, the supporting argument has not been restated in this year’s paper.
IHPA issued the Pricing Framework prior to releasing the NEP and NEC Determinations, which were made publicly available in March 2015. This provides an additional layer of transparency and accountability by making available the key principles, scope and approach adopted by IHPA to inform the NEP and NEC Determinations.
